Assistant Front Office Manager needed in NZ
We are currently seeking an Assistant Front Office Manager to join the Reception team at a seasonal luxury lodge, located in Northland, New Zealand. This position is well-suited to serious administration/hospitality candidates who enjoy providing an exceptional standard of service.

This is a full time, permanent position which requires flexibility and commitment. The roster includes morning, afternoon and evening shifts over 7 days.

The successful candidate will be computer savvy with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programes, in particular Excel. Be highly organised with the ability to lead a team, communicate efficiently and clearly, think well under pressure always manintaining a positive attitude. Have a good command of verbal and written English, have an eye for detail and exceptional presentation skills.

In order to be considered for this position you must have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand until at least 31st May 2020, and have a Full New Zealand drivers licence and a reliable car to transport yourself to and from work.

Accommodation can be provided if required, along with meals on shifts, uniform and a generous salary paid in NZ dollars.

Full time Receptionist needed in NZ
Viking is currently recruiting for a permanent Receptionist for a 6* high-end luxury lodge in the sunny and beautiful North Island of New Zealand. This is a full time position, where flexibility of availability is key. The successful candidate will be able to work across a 7-day shift pattern including, Mornings, Evenings, Weekends and Public Holidays.

Duties will include (but not limited to) guest liaison, responding to all reservation inquiries, as well as administering the reservation system, and guest account updates, cashiering, the daily running of hotel computer systems, general lodge typing duties, and of course answering the phone.

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 12 months front office/reception experience. (This should be at 5 star or equivalent level). Sound and proven computer skills is compulsory with reservations systems knowledge.

Candidates must be able to display excellent verbal and written English skills, and be legally able to work in NZ. The position is to start ASAP.

Accommodation can be provided, along with meals on shift and uniform, and a generous salary paid in NZ dollars.

Seasonal Operations Assistant for luxury lodge in New Zealand
We are looking for an Operations Assistant to join a luxury lodge in New Zealand.

Fixed term contract: August 2019 - 1st June 2020

The minimum certification needed would be: a Current Driving Licence, and the appropriate documents to be able to live and work in New Zealand.

The ideal candidate will be motivated with a general knowledge across a variety of trades. You will be helping to keep all of the lodges facilities and exterior areas maintained to the highest of standards so that they are always ready to be used by the guests. Cleaning is another large aspect of the position as the Operations Department is responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of all lodge buildings, workshops and vehicles.

The operations team functions similar to that of a Deck team on a Yacht, this role could suit a Deckhand seeking a land based position.

The successful candidate would be able to work across a 7-day week shift pattern including mornings, afternoons and evenings.

We are currently searching for an experienced MaĆ®tre d’ to manage the front-of-house team at an award-winning luxury lodge in New Zealand.

This position is well-suited to a long-term hospitality professional who enjoys providing an exceptional standard of service in a fine dining environment. The successful candidate must be able to work all shifts and days of the week but will generally work late evenings throughout the summer season.
