The Position

Our security brand Omega Security Services is currently seeking to appoint an experienced Security Officer to join our Groote Eylandt on a Full Time basis.

The position is based on a 7 days on, 7 days off roster - 12 hour day.

Key duties

Conducting regular foot or mobile patrols on the sites
Provide basic response for: fire/security alarms, anti-social behaviour, room lockouts and basic first aid
Monitoring of critical infrastructure and personnel
Monitor Digital Mobile Network system (DMR)

QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING

A Western Australian drivers licence may be required for this role.

Security Guard Licence – WA

Essential Requirements:

Current Tasmanian Security Licence
Certificate II in Security Operations
Current valid First Aid Certificate (Level 2)
Australian Citizenship or Permanen Residency
