Job Description:
The Front Desk Associate will greet and direct members, guests and staff as they enter the gym. This position will provide assistance to members along with inquiries about gym operations and policies, as well as perform various administrative duties including:

Greet members and guests promptly, enthusiastically and with a smile to create a friendly positive entrance into the gym.
Monitor check-ins to identify delinquent accounts.
Open the Gym at 6am weekdays and 7am on weekends minimum twice a week
Register all guests into the gym using proper registration procedures.
Ensure that guests and appointments are directed to the appropriate employee/department in a prompt, professional manner.
Answer phone in a professional and courteous manner.
Respond immediately to member requests, inquiries and concerns.
Process retail and concession sales.

Job Qualifications:
High school diploma required
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to communicate effectively with both staff and members
Ability to multi-task
Knowledge of basic cash processing procedures
Functional computer skills

Gold’s Gym BC is expanding and looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals that want to grow with our company. We currently are seeking General Managers for our new locations. The General Manager has overall responsibility for effectively managing all facets of operations of a particular gym to include personnel issues, sales/membership, cleanliness and ensuring the club is achieving projected membership/sales goals.

Management Duties:
Properly manage and maintain gym operational budget
Responsible for overseeing the sales process and systems
Manage, monitor, and evaluate the performance of all gym-related managers.
Monitor the hiring, training and scheduling of all gym level staff.
Train and mentor subordinates
Properly delegate, monitor and evaluate specifically assigned responsibilities of sales team through the Sales Manager.
Responsible for managing disciplinary actions involving all gym level employees.
Operational Duties:
Provide and maintain the highest level of customer service in a high volume retail environment through personal actions and development of the staff.
Provide effective decision making regarding customer service issues.
Plan and promote special events for the gym on a monthly basis, using corporate marketing as needed.
Responsible for ensuring that the facility is clean and operationally sound.
Job Qualifications:
High School diploma with five years professional experience. College degree preferred.
Fitness industry experience preferred but not required.
Be promotionally-oriented and have the ability to direct sales through company required outreach programs.
Strong customer service orientation with proven results.
Understanding of performance metrics including P&L, revenue, budgeting, inventory, payroll, cost controls and facilities maintenance.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Entrepreneurial spirit with open, participative leadership style and drive for excellence.
Strong work ethic, integrity, and professional demeanor.
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business or related field with two years of management experience preferred.
Current CPR Certification
Proficient in the use of all software programs that are utilized at the facilit
Ability and experience in effectively motivating and managing a staff of employees
