Express Entry Canada Experience Class draw draws candidates with scores as low as 431 Canada has now released more than 30,000 Invitations to Apply for Express Entry candidates despite border restrictions for the corona virus in mid-March.
The withdrawal of the express entry led to invitations to 3,508 immigration candidates and their families to apply for Canadian permanent residency.
Invitations to apply for Canadian permanent residency have been issued to Canadian Experience Class program candidates with Comprehensive Ranking System scores as low as 431.
This was the lowest Comprehensive Ranking System for Canada Experience Class candidates since Canada withdrew on May 31, 2017 which had only Comprehensive Ranking System 413.
The draw comes after 392 Invitations to Apply issued for regional filtering program Provincial Nominee Program candidates yesterday, bringing the total Invitations to Apply issued over the past two days to 3900.
Canada's Express Entry runs candidate profiles for three of Canada's major economy-class immigration programs:
• Category of federal skilled workers
• Federal Skilled Character Category
• Canadian Experience Class.
Canada Experience Class cut grades for Canada Experience Class candidates have decreased in each individual Canada Experience Class withdrawal since entry restrictions.
The draw today saw the application of the tie rule on 3 April 2020 at 12:56:32 UTC. This means that all candidates with a comprehensive rating system of 431 who submitted their profile before this date and time received Invitations to Apply in this advocacy round.
Today's score of 431 lottery was 6 points lower than that of the last Canada Experience Class Express Entry lot, which was 437.
There has been a significant downward trend in Comprehensive Ranking System cutoffs since the start of the epidemic, and given their drop in each individual Canada Experience Class draw down in recent months, it appears that there is potential for continued low scaling.
All eligible Express Entry candidates are awarded a Comprehensive Ranking System score based on factors such as age, education, skilled work experience, and proficiency in English or French.
Unlike all program advocacy rounds, which are withdrawn from the entire Express Entry group and tend to lead to higher cut scores, specialized draws for a typical group such as Canada Experience Class candidates can produce lower cut scores given that they target a smaller group of candidates.
Although Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada has yet to provide information about the next Federal Skill Workers withdrawal date, potential Canadian immigration candidates are encouraged to continue to present profiles to the Express Entry group. This not only guarantees that they will be in order if the Federal Skill Workers withdrawal is made but also that they will be visible to Canadian provinces and territories when issuing provincial nominations associated with Express Entry.
Candidates obtaining candidacy from a Canadian province or province, earn an additional 600 points toward their Comprehensive Ranking System score, which effectively increases their chances of joining the next quick draw. So far in 2020, Canada has released 49900 Invitation To Apply.
