Many tourists come from Europe by charter flights. Taxis are easily available outside the airport, and buses take passengers from the airport to Fira and from there to other locations.

Cruise ships and ferries connect Santorini with the rest of Greece. Ferries come to the new port of Athenaeus and then you can take a bus or taxi to any of the cities. There are speedboat flights from the old pier of the port of Scala to Oia.
