General Technician Shipwide

Responsibilities:
Daily use of wireless microphones, including frequency tuning, power management and signal path
Live audio mixing with digital audio consoles
Equipment set-ups and handling heavy equipment & road cases
Lighting console operation for intelligent and conventional fixtures
Maintenance of Entertainment technical systems, including lighting and audio, video and projection systems
Open venues, install, set-up, operate and strike assigned ship wide and island events and activities (i.e. games shows and theme nights, band/duo/Cabaret performances, Adult/Family events, deck movies, dining room events, Youth programs, guest speakers, shopping talk, deck parties/events, atrium activities, weddings, group/conference and concierge functions, etc.)
Responsible for operational and maintenance duties as scheduled; Duties include setting up/striking activities, operating audio, lighting, A/V, and other equipment

Qualifications:
Minimum three years experience in a relevant Entertainment based environment
Knowledge of computer systems or computerized control systems, preferred, including knowledge of DOS and Windows 3.1 operating systems
Trade school/college diploma, preferred
Self-motivated person, able to work with little supervision
Must possess a valid Driver’s Licens
Be at least 21 years of age
Be able to speak, read and write fluent English
Willingness to live and work onboard one of our vessels for a certain length of time (based on position)
Be able to work a seven-day, 70-84 hour week with limited time off

Automation Operator

Responsibilities:
Operate stage scenic elements during shows
Conduct routine maintenance on all ship-wide automation and rigging systems
Ensure all documentation is maintained

Qualifications:

Computer literacy required
Experience in the operation of computerized automation control equipment required
Knowledge and experience of hydraulics, electronics, electric motors, motor drives and controls, manual and automated rigging devices required
Experience with the Acrobat G6 console and e-Chameleon software preferred

Junior Sous Chef

Responsibilities:
Ensure every food item leaving the Galley is of the highest quality in flavor and presentation
Lead multi-cultural culinary team of 12 – 20 Crew members from commis chefs to CDP’s toward completion of daily work assignment
Hand on and responsible for own assigned section within the galley and lead entire galley team in absence of the Chef De Cuisine
Execute proper menu preparation for all allergy and special dietary needs; ensure training and preparation are in accordance with strict company guidelines
