Summary:
Under the authority of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Building Operator performs diverse manual tasks concerning building maintenance and operations. Note: The Building Operator will need to work in different buildings in York Region and will need to travel between them.

Responsabilities:
• Maintain the building in order to provide comfort and security to all occupants;
• Complete scheduled Preventive and Corrective Maintenance tasks within agreed upon Service Level Agreement (SLA);
• Carry out daily inspections in the buildings;
• Receive enquiry calls from client’s personnel, record in CMMS and take appropriate actions;
• Support in small projects and minor repairs, such as patching and painting, tiling, flooring and minor plumbing and electrical repairs, (Non energized), carpentry and furniture moves;
• Preventive maintenance of all types of doors and their hardware;
• Minor plumbing such as unclogging drains and faucet repairs;
• General cleanup of the work areas and technical rooms;
• Under minimal direction, work directly from the work orders provided from the CMMS;
• Use hand and power tools and other equipment, as necessary, to complete assignments;
• Follows all company safety and security procedures;
• Enter and complete work orders utilizing the mobile CMMS provided;
• Completes all other tasks required by his immediate supervisor.

Summary:
The Business Development Executive (BDE) - Urban Transport will be in charge of the organic and external growth of the rail market for ENGIE Transport Canada – (ETC). The area of responsibility will be the North America Public Transport market with a focus on rail. The Business Development Executive (BDE) - Urban Transport will act as a key resource for business leaders, customers, and project team partners to coordinate the flow of information and communications related to transport business opportunities.

The Business Development Executive will work closely with the ETC Manager Director (MD) and will report to the North American Chief Business Officer. The individual will be managing the overall sale process from prospecting to negotiating contract agreements including securing teaming agreements with international and local partner and subcontractors, supporting the bid team during proposal preparation and reporting progress on sales and growth objectives.

Success in this role requires a focus on efficient prospecting and networking, the ability to identify and coordinate internal and external resources and the ability to establish strong strategic relationships with high level Client representatives, and high level (board) partner representatives, including key subcontractors such as designers and external contractors. The Business Development Executive will liaise with ENGIE Transport representatives from ETC, including individuals from ENGIE Services Canada based in Canada and ENGIE Ineo S.A. based in France.

The individual can be based in Montreal or Toronto and will be travelling frequently across North America

Responsibilities:

The Business Development Executive (BDE) - Urban Transport will be involved mainly with DBFOM, DBFM, DBF, and DB projects in Canada and USA. The key objective is to position ETC in Design-Build and Operation & Maintenance joint ventures as well as in ProjectCo, in agreement with the North America Business Unit, the B2T ENGIE Green Mobility Key Program and with ENGIE INEO expertise from France.

The Business Development Executive (BDE) - Urban Transport will:

Marketing and strategy
Drive and capitalize on dedicated internal or external market assessments to identify business opportunities and understand the related ecosystem contributing to ETC infrastructure transport projects and market share development
Use their strong understanding of the market to identify ETC’s position in the value chain (service and project lines) and specify an accurate offer strategy to develop new opportunities for ETC in targeted North American regions
Prepare presentation materials for partners, customers, and buyers
Define strategies to win new markets (complete the pre-tendering phase up to tender management)
Develop a complete Noram Transport action plan (targets, stakeholder mapping, partnerships, milestones, etc.) and be accountable for the progress of the action plan

Business Development
Drive new sales growth and create a strong market presence by analyzing new opportunities and targeting markets in compliance with business objectives and growth targets
Build a network of customers, and international and local partners and suppliers
Promote ENGIE ETC’s solution and develop good communications and relationships with customers, and active and regular contacts
Understand client needs and define suitable and innovative solutions with the help of internal and external experts
Cultivate strong relationships with key non-ENGIE information sources, such as local regulatory, utility, municipality, and community choice aggregators
Cultivate strong relationships with corporate partners, developers, and business partners
Develop a comprehensive knowledge of the market and its trends, and competitors’ offers and positioning
Generate a pipeline of opportunities and potential acquisition targets for rail development and ensure opportunities are properly qualified
Prepare development plans to secure funding for each opportunity, including completing investment memos and obtaining approval to implement the project from ENGIE Investment Committees
Present bid/sales presentations to current and/or new clients, and invite internal and/or external specialists for support
Plan workforce needs and development in relation with business growth and upcoming new contracts
Conduct due diligence on project acquisition targets and drive transactions toward closure

Bid management contribution
Evaluate requests for bids, liaise with the Bid Director/Bid Manager for bid preparation, prepare competitive analyses and contribute in the procurement processes
Optimize project structuring to ensure competitiveness in the market while ensuring that project financing can be secured while meeting ENGIE investment criteria
Negotiate terms and conditions of partners or client agreements
Prepare persuasive communication and clear agreements for the various stakeholders in order to secure support for the proposed project
Bid preparation: assemble high-value commercial teaming and technical solutions from business development teams to properly brief the bid proposal team in charge of the project. Interact with individuals within and outside the company, such as suppliers, designers, sub-contractors, etc. Act as a liaison between company knowledge and external requests, latent market needs and creative potential available within the company. Examine and test new ideas. Prepare Business Development Plans and sales forecasts highlighting the most appropriate business opportunities.
