Here comes the role of the Kiron Foundation, which will offer you a scholarship to study and obtain the courses for free without any cost until you take the certificate.
* Kiron Foundation provides educational services to refugee students in particular and students who have lost their education for some reason, in addition to providing its services to students in poor countries and those who are unable to afford the costs of online courses.
Due to the existence of a partnership between the Kiron Foundation and Coursera, according to which if any person receives a scholarship from Kiron, all courses on the Coursera platform are free and without any costs, even the certificate becomes free to obtain.
If you want to get the scholarship, register an account in Kiron, then upload an image and a copy of your ID or Passport to activate the account until you are able to take the courses for free.
If the applicant is a refugee, he/she must apply a document of proof from UNHCR or any other proof documents. ( after open account at kiron you find guide about type of documents you need to upload).
How long does it take to activate an account with Kiron?
10 days remain until the Kiron team reviews the request. Sometimes it takes longer. You will receive an email in response to your acceptance of the scholarship.
Note :
- You must register with the same email in Kiron and Coursera platform.
- If you do not receive a response after a month, you can email Kiron via info@kiron.ngo and ask them to consider verifying your account and that you have uploaded a photo, passport or ID, to be re-verified in your application.
After completing the course, the successful person will obtain a recognized certificate that you can add to your qualifications and strengthen your chances of finding a job.
