Flexibility in the Temporary Foreign Worker Program, Quebec
The Ministry of Labour, de l'Emploi et de la Solidarité sociale recently announced some easing of the Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP). Some of them went into effect in the past few weeks.
So as of December 6, 2021, some D-level occupations have been exempted from publication requirements and from local recruitment efforts, including this series of positions:
Cashier jobs
Counter servers
Housekeeping staff
Metal work station employees.

More good news for those who looking for a job in Canada-Quebec
From January 10, 2022 to December 31, 2024, employers in some economic sectors, such as the accommodation and food sector as well as the health care sector, will be able to hire more foreign workers in low-paid jobs compared to the same workplace, the ceiling rises from 10 to 20% of employees. The full list of sectors eligible for this increase can be found on the Emploi et de la Solidarité sociale ESDC .
Certain C-level jobs will also be added to the list of occupations eligible for Simplified Processing, including patron attendants, retail salespeople, material handlers, and assemblers. However, this list is not yet valid and must be approved by the federal government.
