Purchasing Analyst

Job Description:

The primary responsibility of the Purchasing Analyst will be to oversee all ingredients, packaging, and supplies purchases. This individual will evaluate and recommend vendors and determine the most cost-effective inventory and reorder levels, as well as negotiating price, delivery, and credit terms.

*Responsible for purchasing ingredients, packaging, and supplies. *Receives purchase requisitions and verifies for accuracy and authorization.
*Prepares and issues purchase orders; determines and negotiates prices, delivery and credit terms; buys according to established company policies and procedures; maintains accurate purchasing records.
*Responsible for evaluating, assessing and selecting vendors based on capabilities, performance and consistent quality.
*Maintains rapport and good working relationships with vendors; keeps accurate vendor records.
*Advises Accounting and the Director of Operations when vendors are not meeting requirements.
*Evaluates and recommends new/substitute vendors, when necessary.
*Negotiates with suppliers and analyzes suppliers’ operations to determine factors that affect prices and to determine lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules.
*Reviews proposals, negotiates prices, selects or recommends suppliers, analyzes trends, follows up orders placed, verifies delivery, approves payment, and maintains necessary records.
*Evaluates inventory reorder levels and quantity price breaks to determine most economical purchasing of inventory and supplies in relationship to company’s cost of capital.
*Prepares monthly reports and reviews forecast of purchasing commitments with the Controller.
*Responsible for communicating affect of current trends on product sourcing and availability.
*Maintain and develop inventory costing controls.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

* Training/Education: 2 year degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Operations, or Supply Chain Management.
* Acute attention to detail.
* Excellent organizational skills.  
* Excellent communication skills.  
* Energetic.  Must be able to excel in a fast paced environment.
* Microsoft Office.  Typing 50 wpm.
* Bi-lingual a plus.

Job Description:

The Retail Sales Representative is the face of Chukar – charged with creating a relationship between company and customer that will last.
The Sales Representative needs to entertain, educate, and encourage customers.
The right person will be hardworking, charismatic and a natural at providing a superior level of customer service.

*Engage all potential customers with energy and courtesy
*Impart Chukar product knowledge to customers
*Introducing promotions to customers
*Operate register accurately and efficiently
*Open and close the retail store
*Answer phone, transfer company calls when necessary, and take customer orders
*Daily balance paperwork associated with deposits and store checklists
*Fulfilling other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:
