Project Manager - Meetings and Events
LOCATION : Sweden
CATEGORY : Project Management

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organized individual to join our team as Project Manager. The Project Manager is responsible for planning and delivering world-class meetings and events in our Corporate Division. Besides this, the Project Manager will supervise the work of Project Coordinators and Assistants. We organize a variety of events for our clients that include car launches, corporate meetings and incentive events.
You must be customer service oriented, have strong administrative skills (specifically very proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), a strong attention to detail and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Effectively plan and execution of all event details from start to finish

• Research décor, menu selections and other program components for clients

• Coordinate event registration – compile information, create registration copy decks for programs, test the site and update changes

• Onsite management of registration process when applicable

• Process payments as required • Enter program costings into database

• Plan the creation of print collateral • Create travel itineraries for clients

• Plan the creation of function sheets & with supplier communications

• Produce meeting agendas and contact reports

• Project Manage onsite at events

• Maintain up-to-date documentation and user manuals

• Some office administration tasks

Required Experience, Skills & Abilities

• Minimum of five years’ relevant industry experience, event coordination preferred

• Degree or Diploma in Hospitality/Event Management or related field

• Excellent verbal and written professional communication skills

• Great customer service orientation and a positive attitude

• Enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment, able to meet deadlines and multitask

• Well-developed time management & problem-solving skills: highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented

• Responsible and able to work both independently and with project teams for individual events

• Strong computer skills are a must: highly proficient levels in MS Office

• Fluent written and spoken Swedish and English is essential. Other language skills are an asset

• Proven track record in managing a team

Sales Manager
LOCATION : Sweden, Stockholm

JOB OBJECTIVE
Researching and developing new client business to support overall business development for the Corporate Department in Sweden.
Manage, entertain and develop new client accounts and relationships with the purpose of offering the full range of MCI M&E.
Contribute to the achievement of the financial objectives and the growth of the department.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
· Elaborate, adapt and implement the Business Development Plan together with the Director Corporate Division
· Supporting and contributing the Account Managers in their commercial activities
· Develop growth within new account in cooperation with Account Managers
· Identify and proactively acquire new accounts in Sweden and abroad in close cooperation with the Director Corporate division.
· Manage CRM database of your accounts
· Responsible for Sales and consultancy to clients about services of Events department in view of obtaining new briefings and business
· Present MCI and our services to new prospects in order to obtain meetings (develop and implement sales calls)
· Proposal writing and assist with budget calculation
· Observe and document industry evolution and trends

DESCRIPTION OF THE RELATIONSHIPS
The Sales Manager reports to the Director Corporate Divison and works with the support of a team that may include Assistants, Project Managers and other operational support staff.
The Sales Manager works closely together with other Sales Managers, Operations Manager, Account Managers and with various members of support teams, as well as with members of the MCI Management Team as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Solid background and Swedish knowhow within the meeting industry
· Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position, experience in the Events field would be an asset
· Proven track record in attracting and winning new business and increase sales figures
· A high degree of self-motivation, initiative and organizational skills to deliver activity to agreed targets.
· Flexibility, adaptability, dynamic and pro-active
· Fluent (written and spoken) in Swedish and English is a must. Other languages are welcome, Nordic languages, German and French in particular
· Strong client service orientation
· Excellent written and verbal communication
· Excellent analytical and lateral skills
· Excellent personal presentation and natural negotiation skills
· Excellent presentation skills
· Ability to work under pressure, set priorities and meet deadlines
· Delivers creative and quality solutions
· Works precisely with a high sense of responsibility
· Excellence experience with management and operating budgets / financial control
· Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team, to motivate and coach people

SPECIFIC TECHNICAL SKILLS
· Good knowledge of MS office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
· Knowledge of database usage.
