A major food production facility and distributor in Victoria are looking for a full time Delivery Driver to drive a 5 tonne single axel truck around Victoria and up-Island. If you have a Class 3 Licence you may be additionally required to drive a tandem axel truck.

DELIVERY DRIVER
Opportunity: Full time, permanent position
Location: Saanichton, BC
Driving radius: Victoria and up-Island
Licence type: Open to Class 3 and Class 5 drivers
Hours: Day time, Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday. In the summer months, shifts can run to 6pm in Victoria, or until 7-8pm for up-island deliveries.
Pay rate: $15-17/hour
Start: ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Driving of 5 tonne single or tandem axel truck to scheduled drop off locations
• On time delivery of product
• Providing excellent customer service
• Assistance with unloading of product once at location
• Ensuring all paperwork is completed and organised as required

Qualifications required:

• Clean Class 3 or Class 5 drivers licence
• 2+ years driving experience a single or tandem axel truck
• Experience with a moving company is an asset
• Excellent customer service and timekeeping skills
• Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision and stay productive and results-oriented throughout the shift

Position Summary

This is a physical, fast-paced, outdoor position that involves continuallifting, lowering and carrying packages that typically weigh 25 - 35 lbs. andmay weigh up to 70 lbs. Delivery Driver at Randstad
Richmond, BC

This position is responsible for providing professional, courteous service by delivering, picking up and servicing our products, and educating our customers on product use.

Shifts: Mon-Friday
- Day shifts: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Wage: $19/hr + OT

Key Responsibilities:
•Performing deliveries, pick-up service of Health care Equipment.
•Provide education and specific instructions to health care providers and clients on use of our products in busy health care facilities.
•Completing all daily activity and driving logs as required by company and government regulations.
•Completing daily truck inspection.
•Performing infection control, quality inspection in line with standard operating procedures while processing returns of rental and customer owned equipment.
•Communicating in a clear and timely manner across the department and interdepartmentally to ensure efficiency, accurate billing, inventory management and customer satisfaction.
•On call duties as required by Service Center.
•Other duties as required.
