We are looking for someone passionate about guest services & Food and Beverage! You will need to bring your exceptional customer service skills to anticipate our guests' needs and deliver a memorable service experience.

The successful candidate will be working across Front Office and Food &Beverage. This role will be a great opportunity for anyone with passion for the industry, looking to develop their career in hotels through gaining exposure within the two departments!


Reporting to the Guest Services Manager and Venue Manager, you will be responsible for:

Providing a personalised service and experience for our guests to enjoy
Recognising and welcoming regular guests
Checking guests in and out
Maintaining accurate guest accounts
Taking bookings, providing helpful information & entering reservations
Answering guests queries in a timely and efficient manner
Addressing guest requests and handling guest complaints in a positive manner
Liaise with inter departments to assist guest and advise of room moves
Ensuring service provided by to guest is to hotel standards

Canada Immigration and Visa Center

Explain the menu to guests, assisting those with special dietary needs or preferences as well as provide suitable assistance when recommending beverages
Maximise sales opportunities by upselling items
Ensure accuracy whilst ordering and delivering food and beverage orders
Use Micros to place orders
Liaise with the Kitchen on special requests or delayed meals
Clear and reset tables as well as ensuring service areas are clean and tidy
Maintain standards of hygiene for food handling and presentation
Promote a safe workplace by recognising hazards and promoting general OHS practises
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

A friendly, customer focused attitude with the strive to provide Total Customer Satisfaction
Initiative to ensure that interactions with our customers are positive and efficient
Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
Previous customer service or hospitality experience
Professional telephone manner and exceptional customer service skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills
A friendly and positive can-do attitude who enjoys working in a team
Excellent grooming and presentation standards
Intermediate computer skills – Word, Excel, PMS and Outlook
Previous experience with Fidelio or Opera desirable not essential
Current open driver’s license desirable however not essential
The ability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including early mornings, late evenings and on weekends
