Description
The store assistant is supported in maintaining and dividing the bakery area, helping store and sell daily baked goods.
Responsibilities of the position
• Follow the "best one way" practice standards.
• Respond to customer calls immediately.
• Run the registry when needed.
• Keep 100% baked goods in stock at all times.
• Meet customer needs by helping them whenever possible.
• Ensure that the goods are fully stocked and ready to work.
• Compliance with standards and policies for refrigerant compliance, temperature calibration, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sales dates and expiry dates.
• Adhering to food safety procedures and dealing with sanitation and cleaning procedures.
• Prepare baked goods by following thoroughly melting and baking guidelines to ensure the quality and visual appearance of bakery department merchandise, such as bread, cakes, pies, cakes, and rolls.
