International student graduates and skilled workers both in Manitoba and abroad were invited to use for a provincial nomination.The 91st Manitoba Expression of Interest , that known .EOI. draw took place on June 4. A total of 124 immigration candidates were invited to use for a provincial nomination for Canadian permanent residence.
The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program .MPNP. distributed the invitations, also referred to as Letters of recommendation to use .LAAs. to candidates who were eligible for the following streams:
• Skilled Workers in Manitoba: 84
• Skilled Workers Overseas: 21
• International Education Stream: 19
This brings the total number of Letters of Advice to Apply .LAAs. placed for immigration candidates at this year up to 2,154. Out of the 124 Letters of Advice to Apply issued, nine went to candidates who had profiles in the Express Entry pool.

There are Express Entry For 3 types federal immigration streams:
• Federal Skilled Worker Program , that known .FSWP.
• Federal Skilled Trades Program , that known .FSTP.
• Canadian Experience Class , that known .CEC.
Eligible candidates are ranked on the Comprehensive Ranking System , that known .CRS. which gives them a score based on human capital factors such as age, work experience, education, and language ability.
The highest-scoring candidates are issued Invitations to Apply , that known .ITAs. through regular federal Express Entry draws.
If the nine MPNP candidates, who received an LAA in the June 4 draw, successfully receive the provincial nomination they will be awarded an additional 600 CRS points.
The extra points effectively guarantee that the candidate will be selected in a subsequent Express Entry draw.

In order to be invited to apply for a provincial nomination from Manitoba through both the Skilled Workers in Manitoba and Skilled Workers Overseas categories, candidates need to register an Expression of Interest , that known .EOI. with Manitoba provincial nomination Program , known MPNP.

An Expression of Interest .EOI. it is online profile that is ranked out of a score 1,000. This points are awarded about :
• Education,
• Work experience,
• Connections to Manitoba community
• Proficiency in English or French, and with other factors.
In latest draw, of Manitoba provincial nomination Program candidates invited under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba Stream had a score of 523.
The lowest-ranked candidate invited from the Skilled Workers Overseas Stream had a score of 703.

The Skilled Workers Overseas Category allows the MPNP to pick and nominate skilled foreign workers who can help support Manitoba’s labour market.
