You will be responsible for ensuring all laundry items are ready for housekeeping team on a daily basis and that the laundry is of a very high standard at all times.
Key Responsibilities
•Be proactive in providing extraordinary service to external and internal guests at all times.
•Ensures that all guests' requests are prioritised and completed in a timely manner.
•Keep reject items to a minimum
•Laundry is kept clean and tidy
•Laundry items are stored correctly on shelving provided
•Correct use of equipment in a safe and effiicient manner on every occassion
•Assist with delivering linen to storage rooms on guest floors
•Collects soiled linen from guest floors and deliver it to the linen room for counting prior to pick up.
•Folding and quality checking all items as required
•You should be able to work un supervised.
•Adheres to policies relating to fire, hygiene and occupational health and safety.
•Utilises all safety equipment provided in day-to-day work.
•Ensure familiarity with all chemicals used in the department, maintains correct storage and usage of chemicals.
•Follows lost property and guest security procedures.
