Laboratory Manager- Reservoir Fluid Analysis (PVT)
Location: Kuwait

The position is for a Laboratory Manager based in Kuwait City.  Premier/COREX has been awarded a large 5 year contract for Kuwait Oil Company (KOC), supplying Rock and Fluid Analytical Services in country.  As such Premier/COREX is recruiting technical personnel to help deliver on the requirements of the contract.  The successful candidate will require proven ability to manage a PVT laboratory in the oil and gas industry.  Strong client communication and relationship skills are required, as is experience as a PVT lab manager.  Previous experience in one of the Gulf Cooperation Countries (GCC) is a definite plus as is prior experience with KOC specifically.  The successful candidate must be willing to relocate to Kuwait.

- Formulating, implementing and regulating Laboratory procedures
- Assessing lab analyses and results and reporting these to the client
- Dealing with vendors, requesting bids and ordering equipment and supplies as required for efficient lab management
- Oversight of all Quality Control aspects of the PVT Lab
- Supervising and/or installing and calibrating PVT / EOR/ OSDS equipment.
- Promoting, enforcing and complying with all safety rules and company policies
- Ensuring laboratory duties such as housekeeping and equipment maintenance are performed
- Recruiting, directing, appraising, training, and motivating staff
- Full responsibility for all client needs, expectations, analysis lead time and data accuracy
- Ensuring smooth laboratory operations and project management
- Managing costs and maintaining healthy margins
- Generating required revenue to meet the budget and profit targets as set by the company.
- Other duties as directed by the Kuwait General Manager and PVT Technical Manager

Qualifications:
-Minimum 10 years’ experience in PVT Laboratory out of which at least 3 years as Laboratory Manager
-Graduate in Petroleum / Chemical /Reservoir Engineering OR Bachelor/ Master in Chemistry
-Expert in all aspects of Routine PVT, Enhanced Oil recovery (EOR) & Organic Solid Deposition Studies (OSDS), Water and atmospheric oil/condensate analysis.
-Excellent Communication, Presentation and Marketing skills
-Relevant computer skills (MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Illustrator)Minimum 10 years’ experience in PVT Laboratory out of which at least 3 years as Laboratory Manager

Qualifications:
-Minimum 5 years’ experience in PVT Laboratory out of which at least 2 years as Laboratory Supervisor
-Graduate in Petroleum / Chemical /Reservoir Engineering OR Bachelor/ Master in Chemistry
-expert in Routine PVT, Water and atmospheric oil/condensate analysis.
-Knowledge of Enhanced Oil recovery (EOR) & Organic Solid Deposition Studies (OSDS) is desirable but not essential.
-Other skills generally expected from an efficient Laboratory Supervisor.
-Relevant computer skills (MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Illustrator)

Laboratory Technician- Reservoir Fluid Analysis (PVT)

The position is for a Laboratory Technician based in Kuwait City.  Premier/COREX has been awarded a large 5 year contract for Kuwait Oil Company (KOC), supplying Rock and Fluid Analytical Services in country.  As such Premier/COREX is recruiting technical personnel to help deliver on the requirements of the contract.  The successful candidate will require proven ability to work efficiently and independently in a PVT laboratory setting in the oil and gas industry.  He/she must also be able to work effectively in a team environment.  Previous experience in one of the Gulf Cooperation Countries (GCC) is a definite plus as is prior experience with KOC specifically. The successful candidate must be willing to relocate to Kuwait.

The responsibilities and duties of the Laboratory Technician include:

-Installation and calibration of all necessary PVT equipment.
-Promoting and complying with all safety rules and company policies
-Assisting the PVT Lab Supervisor to formulate, document, implement and regulate PVT Laboratory procedures.
-Ensuring smooth operation of the day to day activities of the laboratory.
-Responsiveness to project and client needs.
-Other duties as directed by the PVT Lab Manager or Supervisor
