The Market Access Manager is a strategic role, ensuring the Zespri Supply Chain understands customers and regulatory requirements.

The Technical Implementation Lead role is accountable for the implementation of technical and scientific developments. This role is expected to deliver initiatives that cover functions right across the supply chain, from harvest through to the consumer.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Act as an interface between the technology development and scientific communities (including Zespri Innovation), Zespri supply chain and post harvest industry

Grower Support Services Assistant

Responsibilities:  
Answer incoming calls and ensure that the team resolve grower and stakeholder issues and queries.

Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a high quality customer service experience is delivered to Growers and Industry.
Assist with the administration of annual registration process and resulting update of the Industry Relations database.
Validate and accurately record grower details within Zespri’s database.

Qualifications and Experience:

Payroll Specialist

This is a busy role, responsible for providing accurate and timely payroll services across Zespri' s 670 employees globally.

Responsibilities:
The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for;
Managing payroll processes globally across 16 different payrolls; fortnightly and monthly for 670 employees.
Preparation of monthly and fortnightly payroll journal for salaries and wages (onshore and offshore).
Complete accurate FTE calculations and leave reporting.
Calculate Expat employee remuneration benefits.
Provide expert tax knowledge for Expat employees.
Complete monthly reconciliations.
Manage and execute annual remuneration review and bonus payments.
Ensure team complete general payroll tasks and reporting across KiwiSaver, PAYE, leave processing, etc.
Manage multiple stakeholders and act as key liaison with; internal, external, 3rd party payroll providers, offshore tax advisors and payroll tax providers.

Qualifications and Experience:
5 years’ experience in end to end payroll processing.
Experience across multiple payrolls globally and expert knowledge in global payroll legislation.
Experience in using complex, database driven, multi-user finance systems.
A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business - desirable but not essential.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience in stakeholder and vendor management.

The Quality Assessor will undertake audits of facilities to ensure compliance with the ZESPRI System.

This role is based in the Bay of Plenty however travel to regional pack houses in South Auckland, Motueka, Nelson, Northland, Wanganui and Gisborne may also be required. Please note, this is a 12 month fixed term contract.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement audit plans based on risk assessment.
Conduct audits of facilities.
Develop strong working relationships with industry staff responsible for Quality.
Promote industry development of sound quality systems.
Achieve and maintain appropriate sign off as a ZIL Quality Assessor.
Maintain accurate audit records by facility.
Communicate ZIL requirements to industry.
Participate in quality system reviews. 

Skills and Experience:
Experience in quality system management and audit procedures.
Sound knowledge of ZESPRI specifications, MPI requirements, GAP, and Food Safety requirements.
Writing and reporting skills, with the ability to write clearly, succinctly and correctly.

Responsibilities:
New Zealand is Zespri’s largest supply location producing approximately 150 million tray equivalents of premium Zespri kiwifruit from 16 Suppliers. This volume is forecast to grow rapidly over the next 10 years and a key focus of this role will be to manage the supplier relationships through and beyond this growth phase.
To procure the New Zealand kiwifruit Crop and assist the Global Commercial Manager (where required) manage the associated commercial issues.
To procure Shipping and other products and services relating to Export Documentation and Planning & Supply as required.
To manage the effective delivery of the crop to market and particularly the supply planning, shipping, documentation, and EDI functions.
To partner with NZ Suppliers to optimise Supply Chain performance
