Duties and Responsibilities:
Take guest orders, ring them though correctly, and expedite the orders from the kitchen in a presentable and timely manner according to the sequence of service.
Offers suggestions by using suggestive selling techniques.
Acknowledges all guests in a prompt manner.
Ensures all chairs, floors, and work areas are clean and presentable at all times.
Maintains excellent communication between all team members.
Performs all side work duties as assigned.
Works closely with Junior Server and Chefs to ensure quality service and plate presentation.
Clear tables when guests have completed their meals or beverages as well as after leaving their tables.
Respond to guests who are dissatisfied and notify a Manager as soon as possible if you cannot resolve the issue.
Follow opening, closing and daily on-going procedures and checklist.
