The New Brunswick County Regional Nomination Program (NBPNP) is an economic immigration program for business owners to Canada who are willing to set up and operate their business while staying in New Brunswick, Canada permanently. The new NBPNP program was launched in the summer of 2017.

The New Brunswick Regional Nomination Program (NBPNP) is administered through the Department of Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labor. The Department of Post-Secondary Education, Training and Employment controls five phases of the six phases. Phase VI includes the application for and receipt of permanent residence. Stage of responsibility of the federal government of Canada through Immigration and Citizenship (Citizenship) and Canadian Refugees (IRCC):

Overview of the highlights of the New Brunswick Regional Nomination Program (NBPNP):
The New Brunswick Regional Nomination Program is designed for experienced business owners who are willing to invest in a project in New Brunswick County and stay with their family in the county.
The program requires 65 points for applicants aged 22-55, who speak English or French, and have completed a degree or diploma for at least two years.
In addition, they must:
1. Have a net wealth of at least CAD 600,000, including CAD 300,000 available as unencumbered liquidity (bank account, equities, fixed deposits, pensions, etc.);
2. Invest at least 250,000 Canadian dollars in business in New Brunswick County (which will have 33% of their property rights); and
3. Demonstration of having previous management experience - either owning a business for 3 years or having administrative experience for 5 years within the last five years.
Main Terms of the New Brunswick Regional Nomination Program (NBPNP)
1. Your application is considered complete after you have answered all the questions in the application form and submitted all necessary documents along with your application.
2. A checklist of documents, namely:
- Complete, sign, date, and document required forms and documents (as required).
- Include processing and payment fees through Visa, Mastercard or American Express using New Brunswick Service (SNB). All applications will be checked as soon as they are received to confirm their completeness. If the department receives an incomplete application, the department will return the application to the applicant in full, with reference to the missing information or document. You can then resubmit the application (with updated information / documents), or you can apply to withdraw your application and recover processing fees. Once the application is reviewed for completeness, it will be evaluated according to the eligibility requirements program. From this point, you will not be able to recover processing fees or refund part or all of your application. You must obtain multiple original copies of any document (s) submitted with your application, including reference letters, language test results, equivalence certificates, certificates of non-judgment, etc. If you request a copy of the document, you do not need to submit the original document, and you will not be able to retrieve it.
3. The availability of the NBPNP regional nomination program categories depends on the volume of applications. The department is entitled to terminate / stop the EOI applications for any category at any time, without prior notice. In addition, the department can refuse to take any request, and can close or separate certain categories regardless of the time of submission.
4. The "Closing" date shall be the date of receipt of the application and the date of its signature by the Administration; The date on which the application was signed does not constitute the date on which the request was completed and accepted for processing. Where the date on the request is more than three months (90 days) upon receipt (and date), or when the date is the future date (deferred), the order will be treated as if it is not signed. If any of the forms requested in your order are unsigned, your application will be considered incomplete and will be returned to you.
5. Processing your EOI requests and / or requests will be processed (or evaluated) according to the following factors: order volume, individual application completions, business orientations, economic forecasting and any other factors identified by the department. Priority will be given to addressing applicants who have the greatest potential to become economists in New Brunswick, as determined by the Section.
6. Withdraw your application: If you wish to withdraw your application voluntarily before making a final decision, you must inform the Administration in writing by completing and submitting the application form to withdraw the New Brunswick Application Form (NB-001) , Applicants can withdraw their application voluntarily at any time without penalty. However, processing fees will not be returned.
7. Reasons why the department rejects your request, for example:
- You are a passive investor (the individual who intends to invest in New Brunswick business with limited participation meaning not to participate in the day-to-day management of the company).
- You have an effective and enforceable application for another immigration program to Canada.
- You were previously rejected in an immigration program to Canada due to poor application in your application.
- You have not been legally admitted in the country where you currently live.
- You are not legally resident in the country where you currently live;
- You are working in Canada without permission \ permission.
- If you live in Canada while you are out of legal status, you did not apply for status (status) within 90 days of the date of the Canadian Citizenship and Immigration Service (IRCC) notification.

- During the five years prior to filing your application with the Section, you deliberately misrepresent or block material facts about an order that would make the Section make a wrong decision regarding the processing or evaluation of your application or the Certificate of Nomination,
- You have an active (active) request registered with the department. Or if there are other factors as specified by the department.
8. If your application is rejected, you will receive a "Letter of Refusal" from the section, but rejected applications can not be appealed.
9. The Section may request evidence and additional information as reasonably required to process, verify or evaluate your EOI; the failure to provide such information in a timely manner will result in the rejection of your application.
10. The Section may request that you conduct an interview to verify information relating to your application and / or business plan or any other reason disclosed at the time of application. The choice will be for you to conduct the interview in English and / or French. Where interviewers are not allowed during the interview. The details of the interview, including how they are conducted, will be determined: via the Internet, or in person, at the time and location of the interview.
11. Issuance of the Nomination Certificate for the New Brunswick Regional Nomination Program (NBPNP)
- The decision to issue the nomination certificate shall be at the sole discretion of the department.
- The section will rely on the information contained in your EOI and in your application for the certification. And
- The nomination certificate is valid for six months from the date of issue.
- The submission of the nomination certificate does not constitute any support or opposition on the merits, investment potential or commercial viability of businesses in New Brunswick.
- Management does not encourage individuals to make any investment in the province before obtaining permanent residence.
- The issuance of a nomination certificate is one of the immigration requirements for Canada. The final decision to grant permanent residence in Canada will be made by the Canadian Immigration, Naturalization and Refugee Service (IRCC); obtaining a candidacy certificate does not guarantee permanent residence.
12. Section can be considered in the amendment of the nomination certificate. If you need to review the certificate or if additional time is required to apply for permanent residence with the Canadian Immigration and Naturalization Service (IRCC) with the necessary documents and reasons, a written request must be made to amend the certificate before the expiry date of the current certificate NB-012 If you do not complete and submit this application prior to the expiry date of the current nomination certificate, the certificate will be withdrawn by the department; The nomination certificate will be Modified valid for a period of 3 months from the date of issuance.
13. Withdraw the nomination certificate: Your nomination certificate can be withdrawn in case:
- You have not complied with the terms and conditions on which you have been selected by the Department.
- The section does not inform you of the material changes in your circumstances.
- Do not end your application to modify your current nomination certificate before it expires.
- Provide the administration with false or misleading information about an order that would make the department make the wrong decision regarding the processing or evaluation of your application or the decision of the Certificate of Nomination,
- You lack the will to live in New Brunswick;
- If the Canadian Immigration, Naturalization and Refugee Service finds that you or a dependent family member is not acceptable as defined in sections 33-36 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. Or the Section determines that you are not eligible for any other reason.
14. If you have received the nomination certificate by the department:
- It is your responsibility to apply for permanent residence directly within six months of the date of issuance of the nomination certificate.
- The Center will assess the application under the Canadian Immigration Act and make the final decision to obtain a permanent residence visa; the Section is not responsible for any decision by the Canadian Immigration, Refugee and Refugee Authority (IRCC) to grant or reject the Permanent Resident status.
15. If you have received a permanent residence visa from the IRCC, you must inform the department of your departure to the station as a written immigrant within 30 days of landing in Canada using the Report Your Landing Form (NB) -013ES).
16. In the event that you or any individual within your request deliberately misrepresents or blocks material facts about an order that would make the Section take a final decision regarding the processing or evaluation of your application or the decision to issue the nomination certificate:
- Are excluded due to "misappropriation" regardless of their eligibility for eligibility. And
- They will be excluded from the EOI or can apply for immigration through the New Brunswick Regional Nomination Program (NBPNP) after 5 years.
17. The Administration shall inform the Canadian Immigration, Naturalization and Refugee Service (IRCC) of all cases of non-compliance if the applicant fails to:
- Reporting the date of arrival to the province within 30 days of landing in Canada.
- Participate in post-landing meetings in New Brunswick with the officials mentioned in the guide.
- Establishment of a business within two years from the date of landing in Canada;
- Business Administration for at least one year. And comply with the terms and conditions set out in the signed and dated business performance agreement.
Processing fees
Post-secondary education administration fees, training and work to cover the cost of providing some services to the public. There is no fee associated with the submission of the Preliminary Evaluation Form (EOI)

The processing fees for the New Brunswick Regional Nomination Program (NBPNP) are non refundable.
Proof of payment must be included with the requested service request.
You and your family must pay for medical examinations, non-judgmental permits, and fees associated with language testing and documentation.
Other fees may include, but are not limited to, language tests, certificate assessment fees, wealth verification fees, and document translation fees.
Qualified Communications

You have visited New Brunswick County for at least five working days during the previous 12 months prior to submitting your application for the purpose of conducting research for your business. or Participation in an information session on entrepreneurship was presented by the official representative of the Government of New Brunswick.
