Pizza Joe’s was founded by Joseph L. Seminara in November of 1980. His first pizza shop was in a small, 600 square-foot, family-owned storefront on West State Street in New Castle, Pennsylvania. Joe, or “Pizza Joe”, as he is affectionately called by those who know him, had great ambitions from the start.
