Entry to Russia only by passport and without visa


Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a law enabling citizens of Arab and foreign countries to enter Russia without a visa to attend the 2018 World Cup

The law allows fans from Arab countries, Africa and Asia to enter Russia without a visa if they have an electronic copy of their ID card, which is given to them when they buy a ticket for at least one match, plus personal identification papers, ie, a passport.

Foreign tourists can enter Russia without a visa 72 hours before the first match of the 2018 World Cup, until the final day of the tournament.

The 2018 World Cup, Visa Multi-Visit will be granted any regular humanitarian visa, and the organizers will have multiple  VISA, ie Business Visa or Regular Business Visa.

Russia has already exempted athletes, athletes and technicians from the Winter Olympics hosted by Sochi in February 2014, exempting them from visas, a move that has greatly helped to increase the popularity of the Olympic Games.

For the first time in its history, Russia hosted the 2017 Intercontinental Championship from 17 June to 2 July in four cities: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan and Sochi. It will also host the 2018 World Cup, From 14 June to 15 July, in 12 stadiums in 11 Russian cities.

Russian Prime Minister Medvedev also said he had agreed to a list of countries whose citizens, especially businessmen and tourists, would enjoy preferential treatment, where they could enter Russia without visas.

Medvedev stressed that the countries were chosen on the basis of reciprocity, not because they are close or distant.


The e-Visa will be issued free of charge to every foreign national who applies through the official website fromhere, accompanied by digital and without the need for other documents.
