In collaboration with the Vice President, the incumbent will be responsible for developing the cruise program while ensuring its alignment with organizational strategy, and will ensure the implementation of the negotiation with cruise lines as well as the business relationship with the various internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
In collaboration with the Vice President, to develop and plan the cruise program so as to ensure its growth and profitability
To stay current on the competitive landscape, to analyze the market and trends, and to oversee development opportunities in order to ensure optimization of the cruise program
To negotiate and develop contract terms with cruise lines and monitor performance
To negotiate and monitor marketing plans
To ensure that product selection meets Transat quality standards

To maximize program revenues
To participate in the development of brochures and training products
To develop strong partnerships with suppliers and external stakeholders
To participate in the development of a commercial strategy including national and tactical marketing strategy and distribution strategy, together with the parties involved
To negotiate promotional agreements with cruise lines to increase sales and optimize margin
Work in conjunction with the Commercial Team to set and monitor sales targets throughout the yearTo monitor key financial and operational performance metrics and make recommendations in the event of variances.
Requirements Tourism Diploma
7 to 9 years experience within the Travel industry
Bilingual (verbal and written)
Knowledge of Spanish, an asset
Very customer service oriented
Ability to work under pressure
Knowledge of Microsoft office programs
Be available for business trips as well as flexible working hours
Autonomy and resourcefulness.
