Job Description
The purpose of this position is the loading and/or unloading of customer’s freight in a productive, safe, error free, and time sensitive manner. The candidate must ensure freight is properly loaded and/or unloaded with proper bill control and supporting documentation. Licensed forklift operators must meet Speedy Transport Safety Training standards.
The candidate is expected to play a lead role during the shift to ensure the timely movement of freight. The Supervisor must be flexible and willing to mentor junior staff.
Hours: Afternoon shift - Monday to Friday starting at 4:30pm

Position Responsibilities :Delegate and oversee dockhand and General labourers
Oversee the loading of US Southbound Partner Carrier Loads
Familiar with customs processes and procedures
Loading/Unloading of trailers according to company procedures
Identification of OS&D freight
Completion of necessary documentation
Adherence to company safety policies and procedures
Carry out housekeeping duties when assigned
Position Qualifications:
Warehouse supervisory experience preferred
Grade 12 education
Written and oral communication skills
Forklift experience
Ability to work under pressure and in a time sensitive environment
