This highly popular stream last opened on October 11, 2017 and filled the same day so hopefuls are advised to prepare their documents and be ready at the opening time.
Express Entry candidates who obtain a nomination through this stream are awarded 600 additional Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points and an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence at a subsequent draw from the pool.

Nova Scotia PNP Demand: Express Entry (Category B) selection criteria
Category B of the Nova Scotia Demand: Express Entry is intended for applicants with paid work experience in an opportunity occupation.
To apply under Category B, applicants need to:
have a profile registered in Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada’s Express Entry system;score 67 points or more on the stream’s 6 selection factors;have at least one year of skilled work experience in one of the opportunity occupations;have a Canadian high school credential or equivalent foreign degree, assessed by a designated body;prove language ability in English or French at Canadian Language Benchmark 7;show enough financial resources to successfully settle in Nova Scotia.
