JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for ensuring service experience standards in the operation are met and surpassed at all times. Assist the Store Manager with daily operating procedures such as maintaining quality store operations, maximizing financial contribution and assisting with Associate development and training for new hires.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Must be able to work as a Barista when needed and lead by example.
Greets and connect with customers providing excellent service.
Discovers customer needs and appropriately suggest products with every customer to enhance service and meet sales goals.
Assists customers in the selection and purchase of specialty coffee beverages, whole bean and merchandise sales.

Prepares a variety of customer beverage orders such as espresso drinks, blended beverages and Coffee of the Day as per Starbucks standards.Assists Store Manager with hiring and development of new Baristas.
Maintains Marriott and Starbucks service and product standards at all times.
Supervises daily operation.
Contributes to store goals for increasing sales and improving profit.
Records and accounts for store funds while running a shift.
Ensures all cash handling and cash register functions are performed in an accurate and consistent manner.
Performs and directs others to complete cleaning and operational tasks in accordance with the store Duty Rosters.
Follows and directs others to follow standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating and storing all products.
Follows all Marriott policies and procedures as outlined in hotel manual.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must successfully complete the Advanced Starbucks Training Program.
Supervisory experience in a similar environment an asset
Minimum of one year experience in Food & Beverage.
Previous experience in a Starbucks or similar environment an asset
Excellent computer skills; knowledge of Excel, Word and Micros [preferred]
Ability to work in a fast paced environment, multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Must be available to work various shifts (morning, day, evening, weekends, holidays).
