Key Responsibilities:   
SUPPLY CHAIN OPERATIONS & PROCESS IMPROVEMENT:
Track and report KPI’s and ensure metric alignment with customers.
Supply & Replenishment activities which may include:
Evaluate daily & weekly production schedules generated by Internal Factory, External Factory and/or Affiliate units to ensure sufficient supply while maximizing inventory turns. 
Close understanding and attention to production rates, frequency and sequencing, minimum runs, site demonstrated capacity, scheduling lead times, in-transit and hold criteria is required.
Performance monitoring & management of 3rd party, affiliate plants, & associated suppliers including 3rd party adherence to stated Mars Canada production policy, process, and SOP.
Balance market demand with efficient asset utilization while considering impact to total cost.
Material management to maximize quality performance, minimize obsolescence and optimized available storage.
Process Improvement activities which may include:
Deliver annual cost reductions.  Execute against the department continuous improvement strategies to consistently deliver cost under budget and under benchmark.  
Manage daily Freight planning and/or Warehousing activities which may  include:
Load planning, tendering, execution and settlement using TMS software
Material movement from supplier into warehouse and/or factory, Stock transfers from warehouse into factory.
3rd Party communication & monitoring of execution to meet on-time targets
Proactive and Reactive management of tactical operations (equipment availability, customer requests, appointment and pick sequence, etc.)
Manage cost exceptions, accessorial requests and approvals
Identify consolidation and/or savings opportunities
Network optimization

Act as the primary contact for 3rd party providers, suppliers & co-packers; lead review and manage performance with support from the Manager.  Identify & implement action plans to address opportunities

DATA & SYSTEMS:
Act as the Functional Expert for systems which may include: TMS, SAP, Atlas, JDA, WMS
Lead issue resolution, testing, and performance optimization of business systems
New SKU and/or GRD set-up and Variant Management
Maintain system integrity via master data review, cleanse and/or update
Optimize production planning and/or MRP parameters for constrained & unconstrained environments
Utilize analytics, reporting and benchmarking.

Minimum Qualifications:
University Degree in Business, Mathematics or Engineering
2 years Supply Chain experience i.e. supply planning, inventory planning, logistics planning, production planning
Advanced analytical abilities, supported by Excel skills: Data Manipulation & Recommendation building
Understanding of Lean Principles (Six Sigma, ISO, etc.)
Demonstrated continuous improvement background
Ability to drive core objectives to completion
Scorecard & metrics management 

Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years Supply Chain experience i.e. supply planning, inventory planning, logistics planning, production planning, inbound raws planning or replenishment planning
Designation in P. Log, APICS/CITT, or PMAC an asset
Planning system experience (Lean TMS, JDA, SAP or Apollo)
Demonstrated Supplier/Third Party Management Apply
