American Visitor Exchange Visa

The United States welcomes foreign nationals who come to the United States to participate in exchange programs. Before applying for a visa, all applicants for an exchange visa must be approved and approved by their approved program sponsor. Once accepted, educational institutions or program sponsors will provide each applicant with the required credentials that must be submitted when applying for a visa.

The J visa has been created for the exchange program to promote the exchange of persons, knowledge and skills in the fields of education, literature and science. Participants include students at all levels of academia and trainees who have received job training from companies, institutions, agencies, primary and secondary school teachers, specialized schools and university professors coming to teach or research in higher education institutions, researchers, medical or related professionals, international visitors coming for travel or supervision Counseling, research, training, participation or presentation in respect of specialized knowledge or skills or participation in information exchange programs between persons.

The spouse  / or unmarried children under the age of 21 who wish to accompany or join the original J-1 visa holder in the United States for the duration of their stay or residence must obtain J-2 visas. For spouses or children who do not intend to reside in the United States with the original visa holder, but wish to visit only, they may be eligible to apply for B-2 visas.
