HEAVY DUTY CLEANER (On-Call - Guaranteed 25 Hours/Week)
Position Summary:
As a Heavy Duty Cleaner at Waterford Services, you will be responsible for various body-strength dependent cleaning activities, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, floor scrubbing, floor polishing, pressure washing, and transportation/disposing of waste. Your role will require knowledge and experience in cleaning best practices. All equipment and supplies required to complete assigned work are provided. As an on-call cleaner, you will be required to have open availability during the listed availability days and times. If you are not called into work, the minimum guaranteed hours will be paid.
Required Qualifications:
Experience in cleaning best practices.
Ability to work a pre-assigned schedule, follow a specific work routine, and arrive on time for work.
Ability to work safely and comply with all Ontario Occupational Health & Safety guidelines.
Detail oriented.
Have access to personal transportation (own vehicle) to and from the workplace
Steady gait and strong upper-body strength.
Polite and courteous to colleagues and building occupants.

Compensation:
$15.00/hour
Minimum guaranteed weekly hours - 25
Availability:
Sunday - Thursday 10:00pm - 5:00am (7.5 Hours/Shift – 37.5 Hours/Week)

Primary Responsibilities:
Canada Immigration and Visa Jobs
Operating motorized janitorial services equipment, including but not limited to, autoscrubbers, carpet extractors, floor polishers, burnishers.Mopping large floor surfaces.
Dust mopping large floor surfaces.
Collection and transportation of building waste to designated disposal area.
Moving of compactor waste bins to prepare for pickup by waste/recycling disposal service.
Vacuuming large carpeted floor surfaces.
Pressure washing of tile and concrete surfaces.
Glass cleaning using telescopic pole, window brush, and squeegee.
