Leads the E&I team to meet all company EH&S policies and procedures, and to actively work to achieve all Operational Excellence (OE) expectations, objectives & targets
Champions and drives an effective and efficient E&I maintenance program to achieve safe and reliable plant operation. This includes routine maintenance, preventive and predictive maintenance, equipment and spares strategy etc.
Supports contractor health, environment and safety management program to ensure E&I contractors and vendors performance meet safety, quality, schedule and cost objectives
Addresses equipment downtime to improve reliability, and works with other functions to develop corrective actions that may include improved maintenance procedures and/or equipment modifications
Develops contracting strategy and participates in negotiation of contracts for E&I Maintenance services

Supports equipment design and selection as functional owner and provides inputs to project engineering to improve design for reliabilitySupports plant risk management and reliability process such as Asset Integrity, HAZOP, FMEA and RCM etc.

Monitors and analyzes department metrics including spending against budget and identify opportunities to improve performance
Required Qualifications:
Degree in Electrical / Electronic or Instrumentation Engineering from an accredited university
Minimum 10 years of related working experience in Electrical and Instrumentation in the refining or chemical processing industry.
Good working knowledge of electrical power distribution systems and motor control systems
Must understand the basic Instrumentation functions and their usage in the industrial environment
Strong analytical / trouble-shooting skills and able to work independently and as part of a team
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Able to work in a diverse environment more collaboratively
Good leadership and people management skills to lead a diverse team
