Art Dubai and its associated fairs and events are always looking for driven, excellent arts enthusiasts and professionals to join our growing team based in Dubai, UAE. In general, we tend to look for employees with strong English language skills and preferably also Arabic as a first or second language. UAE Nationals and those residents in the UAE are encouraged to apply. Written and spoken French / Russian / Farsi / Hindi / Urdu are also desirable. ONE MONTH INTERNSHIPS
One month internships give participants an introduction and overview of Art Dubai. Each participant will engage in three or more departments within Art Dubai, developing skills that relate to the overall planning of the fair. Internships are aimed at students, recent graduates, or those who have experience in other fields and are looking to gain experience and insight into the planning and operations of Art Dubai.

Internships run from April to November.

TRAINEESHIPS
The Traineeship placement is an intensive three to six month programme, where trainees gain direct experience in one department in the lead up to the fair, as well as hands on experience during the fair in March.

Traineeships at Art Dubai are aimed at young professionals who have completed internships within the art world, or for those who have experience in other fields and are looking to make a switch to the art world. This unique opportunity gives individuals the opportunity to gain real hands-on experience working alongside the Art Dubai team, and to take on areas of responsibility through the three to four month period in the lead-up to the fair. The role also includes regular meetings and mentoring by senior members of the Art Dubai team. One third of the interns have been Emirati and the remaining came from countries from across the Arab world as well as Iran, India, Peru, Russia, Germany, Sweden, Finland, Lithuania, among other countries.

Traineeships run from November to April. Applications for the next edition of the fair will open in September 2018.

APPRENTICE ARTISTS
Apprentice Artists will work closely with a lead artist as part of the Sheikha Manal Little Artists Programme. The apprentice artists will help the lead artist in devising and developing the programme of workshops, while having the opportunity to discuss and absorb ideas, and develop a practice that includes teaching/learning. The Apprentice Artist programme takes place during the fair in March.

EDUCATION TOUR GUIDES
The Education Tour Guides are aimed at individuals interested in arts education. Guides will gain skills in planning and developing education tours as well as hands on experience conducting tours for a range of education groups at the fair in March. The education tours consist of School Tours, which is aimed at Secondary, College and University groups; and Discovery Tours, which is aimed at children 5-17 years, and is part of the Sheikha Manal Little Artists Programme.

VOLUNTEERS

The Volunteer Programme invites arts enthusiasts to get involved in all aspects of the fair and experience its programmes first-hand. Our dedicated volunteers serve as the ambassadors of the event and play a vital role in ensuring the successful execution of the event.  On-site volunteers are given capacity building opportunities that involve working with galleries, manning welcome desks, interacting with guests and audiences, providing information to visitors and other specialised tasks within different programmes and areas.The Volunteer Programme takes place during the fair in March.
